Amber Verita Campus: A Landmark of Sustainable Education in Amber Forest

In April 2025, Alesonor marked a defining moment for Amber Forest by announcing the start of construction for the Verita International School & Kindergarten campus. The event reaffirmed education as a core pillar of the Amber Forest concept, integrated from the very planning phase of the community.

The investment, estimated at approximately €18 million, aims to establish Romania’s first nZEB (nearly Zero-Energy Building) educational institution. The campus spans 15,000 m², adhering to high standards of energy efficiency and bioclimatic design, with net-zero energy consumption and a reduced carbon footprint. Only 20% of the land is allocated to buildings, while the rest is dedicated to green spaces, sports facilities, a gymnasium, and an indoor swimming pool. The campus will host a kindergarten, school, and after-school program in an environment designed for comfort, health, and holistic development.

In May 2025, the campus received an official visit from His Excellency Mr. Giles Matthew Portman, the British Ambassador to Romania. The visit highlighted the project’s international significance and the alignment of Verita’s values with Amber Forest’s vision for sustainable development. The presence of representatives from the diplomatic and business communities underscored the campus’s strategic importance as a benchmark for sustainable education in Romania.

The Amber Verita Campus integrates seamlessly into Amber Forest, Europe’s first suburb certified LEED Platinum v4.1 for Communities: Planning and Design. The project reaffirms Alesonor’s commitment to developing complete communities where housing, education, and green infrastructure coexist harmoniously in a sustainable and coherent model.

In February 2026, the Amber Verita Campus is preparing for its official opening in September 2026. The building has already been erected and glazed, following the planned schedule to welcome its first students.
