March brought the first signs of spring to Amber Forest, capturing the community at a moment of balance between nature, everyday life, and the project’s ongoing development.
From showcasing a new home within the community and organizing activities for children to media features, March reflected the values that define Amber Forest: sustainability, community, and an authentic way of living.

LEARNING THROUGH NATURE: COMMUNITY CHILDREN BUILT BIRD FEEDERS
One of the month’s most memorable moments took place in the forest surrounding Amber Forest, where children from the community participated in a bird feeder building workshop organized together with the Romanian Scouts – Drumul Crinului.
Initiated by members of the community, the activity gave children the opportunity to spend time in nature, work as a team, and learn through hands-on experience about caring for the environment.
The bird feeders they built were installed throughout the forest and will continue to be maintained with the involvement of the community, turning this initiative into a wonderful example of how ideas take root when people come together to build something meaningful.
At Amber Forest, initiatives like this are a natural expression of a community where children grow up in a safe environment, connect with nature, and develop a lasting respect for the natural world from an early age.
